By starting your Halloween shopping in May, you have a better chance of snagging your dream Halloween setup. Act now, and you won't have to contend with the Summerween crowds. 

What's Available for Halfway to Halloween

Halfway to Halloween is often focused on the big-ticket items, like large animatronics and viral decor pieces. These are the first things you should look for when shopping at any Halfway to Halloween sale.

At Lowe's, the Halfway to Halloween collection focuses entirely on animatronics. From creepy clowns to glowing mummies, there's a lot of decor to love (and even more to be scared of) at Lowe's now. Animatronics start at $100 and range from 3 to 7 feet tall, the latter if you opt for the Talking Pumpkin Scarecrow. If you want to get in on this ultra-early sale, move quickly—Lowe's has limited stock of these Halloween favorites. 

The Home Depot is offering animatronics, inflatables, and outdoor decorations. Its collaborations with Disney—including the popular The Nightmare Before Christmas collection with Oogie—are all available for a limited time as part of its Halfway to Halloween sale. You could even add a few eerie light shows to your yard with the LED Halloween Projector.

Lastly, At Home just announced its five Halloween collections for 2026. Themes like Grim Gardens focus on eerie botanicals for your yard, while Western Hollow sees a delightfully scary twist on the Wild West. These collections haven't officially been released on At Home's website yet, but the brand promises they'll be available to shop soon.
