ALDI says the candle smells like notes of “buyer’s remorse, inconsistent prices, and regret.” The actual scent behind the Burning Cash Candle is Volcanic Mist. Even if you managed to get your hands on the candle last year, it's still worth grabbing one again now; ALDI has updated the scent for 2026.

Our Thoughts on the Candle

Who knew burning cash could smell so good? After lighting the candle for a few minutes, the Volcanic Mist scent filled my home with its sweet, airy, and refreshing scent. It's clean and crisp without being overwhelming—perfect for a spa bathroom or zen office.

The Burning Cash candle will be available both online and in stores this year. Starting on Apr. 15, you can hunt it down at ALDI or have it delivered straight to your door. Last year's demand showed us that you'll need to act quickly if you want one.
