According to a new survey commissioned by Ferrero, two-thirds of North American adults say they deserve an Easter basket just as much as children do.
Adults are increasingly participating in holiday traditions, including joining egg hunts, creating their own baskets, and enjoying the candy. The trend reflects a broader shift toward adults embracing holiday celebrations and indulging in seasonal treats.
The company says similar trends have been observed around other holidays, including Halloween, where adults are becoming more involved in festivities and candy consumption.
More Candy, Please
According to the survey, more than one in four adults buy Easter candy specifically for themselves rather than for children. Additionally, more than one in three adults surveyed admitted to eating their children’s Easter candy without telling them.
Among the treats adults are especially interested in are dark chocolate, peanut butter candy, and chocolate eggs.

An adult Easter basket can include a mix of sweet treats, practical items, and spring-themed gifts:
