The brand says it has notes of citrus and pink pepper for a light and airy feel, and it’s warmed up with hints of tobacco leaf, davana, rum, amber, incense, and wood. Reviewers share that the scent isn’t too strong to burn for hours at a time.

The Lotus and Pearl candle is one I’m so excited to try because it sounds fresh and light for spring. It’s scented with ozone and green notes, which I’m definitely curious about, as well as fresh fruit, jasmine, lily, and musk, according to the brand. One shopper highlighted that they could smell the scent throughout their home within an hour, which is impressive for a $5 candle.

I might be allergic to coconut when it’s in food or drinks, but I still love the scent. Just like its name implies, Walmart says this candle is formulated with coconut, and you’ll also find hints of citrus, herbs, wood, and vanilla that’ll smell rich for all of its 40-hour burn time. Pro tip from Walmart: Make sure to keep the wick trimmed to a quarter-inch for the best scent (and burn) experience.

If I were to just pick up one scent during the BHG x Walmart candle event, I would choose this one. I was completely sold when I saw that it includes nectarine, and I smiled even more when I saw that berries, honeysuckle (an iconic summer scent), peony, sandalwood, and hibiscus are all in the mix, too. Even the peach colored jar is on point for this paraffin wax candle.

Not only can you pick up candles to burn throughout spring and summer, but you can also score finds for fall and winter, like this Warm Leathered Amber find. Just like its “warm” name implies, it has a deep scent thanks to notes like amber, vanilla, mahogany, and cacao, according to the brand. Not only is the scent rich, but its mahogany colored jar is too, making it an easy-to-displace piece of decor that some shoppers say is so nice to smell on their desks throughout their workdays.

The name Bronze Mahogany made me think of rich, woodsy scents, which is why the notes in this candle threw me for a (happy, unexpected) loop. Mahogany, amber, and musk are woven into the candle, but you’ll also find fruity scents like lemon, pineapple, and mango mixed in, too. I’m curious, in the best way, and at only $5, the experiment is worth it.
